| A quick reaction to dark blue indicates the presence of a secondary amine. (MDMA,MDEA,Meth). |
A noticeable color CHANGE to reddish/purple indicates the presence of a primary amine. (MDA, dex-Amphetamine, PMA, 2C-B, DOB or waste product from the production process.) |

Due to the unavailability of certain chemicals that are needed to produce ecstasy, the market is flooded with pills that have other substances in them. In Europe, piperazines are frequently sold as ecstasy. Whether these be MCPP, TMFPP or plain old BZP: this is not the real deal and it can make you feel sick!
Luckily, piperazines do not react with our EZ Test Marquis (but they will show a reaction with Simons reagent) so you can weed these nasty buggers out.

step 1.: Do the test on under a bright light on a ceramic plate or white glass. Do not test on materials as metal, paper or stone. |

step 2.: Scrape little bit off the pill onto the plate,or open your capsule carefully and put a little on the plate. You only need a little bit! |

step 3.: Screw the cap off the bottle and put 1-2 drops of liquid on the scraping by turning the bottle upside down until a drop comes out. |

step 4.: Observe the color change (if any) and compare it to the color chart.When finished, rinse the plate with plenty of water. |
